The Science of Sleep (which unfortunatly happens while you are watching this movie)
So has any anyone seen Science of Sleep? Will and I saw it last Sat night. We almost never go to the movies b/c it is so pricey but we splurged on this one b/c we both wanted to see so badly. What a disappointment!! We could not even make it to the end of the movie .... has anyone else seen it? If so ... what did you think? If not ... what has everyone seen lately?

I want to see this movie. It has been getting good reviews. And I like that Charlotte Gainsbourg cutie.
since I don't go to movies any more, I am relying on my netflix dvds....Failure to Launch left me cold; The Matador was cute.....Friends with Money wasn't as cute as I thought it should be; Rumor Has It was as dismal as the reviewers said it was.....
SP you are so right ... the movie has been well reviewed and it is why we were surprised that we did not care for it. I would love to hear your thoughts when you see it. To me there was just no There, there (to borrow from Gertrude) but I would love to hear another take on it. The one thing that we both walked away saying was how great the acting is and I agree that C Gainsbourg is adorable as is Gael García Bernal.
It was such a surprise that a movie with all the ingredients, acting, cinematography, imagination, flopped so badly... the emperor has no clothes is my opinion of the reviewers.
It lacked movement in the story. There was nothing going towards anything for too long.
