" WILL HAS CREATED A MONSTER" or May I introduce the next Danika Patrick

So ... I was a bit "over" the whole Element thing ... a tad conventional for my taste and had been talking incessantly about the Pontiac Solstice. Will tells me to drive the Porsche for awhile to get use to lack of back seats, sports car handling etc. (for some reason he did not consider the convertible Del Sol I had when I met him a sports car even though it had no back seats, was a 5 speed and could get pretty fast (calm down Will ... I said pretty fast ... not real fast) That Porsche had me at "broooom brooom" ... hook, line and sinker I am a goner ... I am in love. Yesterday on the highway I beat a Mustang ... it was beyond fantastic! Did I have to go 100 to do it? yes .... Did I miss my exit? yes ... worth it to beat a boy in a Mustang? hell yeah .... look out Hallett Raceway ... and 100 is not going to cut it out there! Now there is a funny aspect to all of this other than my 12 year boy like love of speed? ... me, will, champ and atticus in the Porsche? PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like to look at it as family bonding time rather than a crowed car =)

Just when I thought things were settled down to a normal pace, I read this post....where have I been? Head in the sand?? I had no idea Slobbie had a need for speed. May I suggest a helmut? Game Boy? video arcade race car games? Why does it have to be so "hands-on"? Well, just as long as you get it out of your system before little Willamena Thomasena comes along....can't put those car seats in a Porsche...

there's another million dollar idea of yours, Slobbie....you have such an entrepenurial streak.....it's a wonder we don't have you over here inventing ways to spin metal more originally.....and creatively.....

ok ... let's see ... how about instead of metal you also make a machine to spin tales ... you put nouns, adverbs, etc in a machine and at the end you have a story for grandpa's who can't remember their own. ... or wait! how about an automated machine for the Whirling Dervishes? I mean they must get tired of going around and around and now ccmco can keep em spinning and well rested!

The fact that she spent half of the "Race" on teh phone with me, asking if she should shift into 5th, makes the story both funnier and scarier.

"Don't put it in 5th in town."

"Don't even go as fast as 3rd will take you, in town."

The prosche was just sitting in the garage like a bicycle, like a lawn mower.

I'm sure that a babyseat could go in teh back. There may a baby seat especially made for such a lucky child.

Will ... I called you while I was getting on the highway, asked you about 5th gear and hung up ... not during the race ... that one was all me =) Just wanted to report the story as it happened.
All my Best,

I'm just terrified....STOP!! Is this the same Porsche that is now in Joey's shop? Being totally outfitted with leather from stem to stern?? Be careful of this car....I now have an investment in it. I get to say who drives it- when it's driven--where it's driven--how fast it's driven--who it is driven next to (no more mustangs, for sure), and who talks to whom driving it 100 mph....sorry, guys, you just sold yours souls for a bit of redecorating...
