oh my really? But the quotes! The ladies! The fashion! The cats! One of my all time fav Little Edie quotes is, "The best thing is to wear pantyhose or some pants under a short skirt, I think. Then you have the pants under the skirt and then you can pull the stockings up over the pants underneath the skirt. And you can always take off the skirt and use it as a cape. So I think this is the best costume for today." I mean a cape ... of course! Why didn’t I think of that? You know they have just made a musical of it on Broadway and unfortunately Jessica Lange (who I love) and Drew Barrymore (who I don’t) are making a movie which I find rather unfortunate. I think that documentary should just stand alone .... no artistic license needed. Did you really find it scary like BOO! scary or this is sick scary?
well, I guess, hysterically scary....and, yes, Edie's explanation of her 'skirt, etc.' fashion statement really made an impression on me.I couldn't figure out whether to laugh or cry, but now I know!!!: I cried at the movie, but laughed at your description of it.
