OK now....let's define 'awesome'.....I will have more comments later but am still processing the 'look'....Will, what would your father say? Never mind....he'd love it....and deny that you are any relation to him.
Well, I must say, I was a little terrified before we left. I felt a little revealed, like in a dream where you run around naked... I can't be the only person to have had dreams like that... it's common, except during the waking hours.
When we showed up and walked through the door and there was a group of people dressed in nothing more unusual than blue jeans and button-ups, we may as well have walked into a Baptist revival!
Both Michelle and I stared at them like deer caught with a yellow stripe painted through our head.
We ventured into the foyer a little, moving slowly. I didn't remove my jacket for fear of being even more exposed. Suddenly, costumed spirits of the 1970's converged on us from differnt wings of the house, and from that moment it took about 30 minutes to cool the crowd down. After all, I was the only one in a 1 piece jumper that was way too tight... the average person is much larger now than in the 1970's, due in part to the higher thc content in current strains of marijane, thus peaking the state of the munchies in the modern metabolism.
And I wondered the whole night, mom, if I wasn't dressed a little like dad in your raging disco days.
Thanks to yours truly, your dad was a prep in the 70's. The closest he got to "raging" was a bright red shirt, which he dutifully wore with a black vested suit. And his hair was long........but 'hippy-like'...not 'bushy-like'....so cute.
No, Will...this look is all yours. I insist you dazzle the New Canaan crowd with at least part of your costume on Sat. night. Katie, get ready for some explaining.
darn.....Will missed his big chance to really leave a lasting impression on the New Canaanites. I guess we'll have to wait till the rehearsal dinner to see him in the white suit and blazer. And the wig, of course.....

Oh, I'm bringing it. I figure the white suit with a blazer will be cutting edge.
