I'm thinking of this weekend with a smile upon my face...

Can't help but be very happy that Megan & I will soon be in Lancaster, TX visiting a book event at the local Walmart...ordinarily, this would seem an odd spot to spend Sat. afternoon. We agree. But we would go to any length to have a viewing of our Katie......we'll actually get to see the family dynamo in action! Have a great weekend, everyone............

As my boys say, "If Wal-Mart don't got it, you don't need it."
hahahahahhaha....well...you know my feelings about W-M...I've spent a good deal of my adult life there....and have treasured living across the street from its spawn........the Neighborhood Market, which actually is one of the nicest and most helpful neighbors I've ever had....
I have always told Will that I want "Gone to Wal Mart" on my tomb stone ... so now that you ladies know you can keep him to it. What is the magic of that place?
it's magic for us but some people have a built-in distrust for W-M...because they put little mom & pops out-of-business in small towns. For the consumer, such as ourselves, I can't ignore that they have the best prices...and I'm pretty big on the cheapest deals around. Plus you can find anything there...anything!!!! Love that.
I know! I am one of two people at my work that will shop at Wal Mart b/c if that distrust. Public
Radio pays next to nothing so they would be smart to start shopping there and I hardly think that the handful of people at my work makes a dent in Wal Marts bottom line but to each their own ...
Viva la Wal Mart!
