Ann's back on the dating circuit...

My mom has had an admirer, Bill, for many yrs. He told everyone that if he could find a "girl" like Ann, he would marry her. Recently, mom was called by Bill to go to a party together, and, even tho mom wasn't sure that Bill could drive at night, she said "yes". A few days later, mom's friend, Sarah called and told mom that Sarah and Jack would pick up both Ann and Bill b/c Bill sometimes gets "confused".

Bill comes to Ann's door and they get in the car full of oldsters for the ride to the party. Once at the party, Bill ignores mom completely.

Later, mom and Bill join Sarah and Jack for dinner at a restaurant with the group of friends from the party. As they were leaving the restaurant, Sarah told mom: Mid-way through the dinner, Bill turned to Sarah and asked Ann's name. My mom laughed so hard she had to run to the restroom...old age dating isn't for sissies.
