Yes, that is right. Champ got hit by a car last night. The vet called it a miracle that there was no internal injures. The car hit him, he went up on to the car, dropped to the ground and then he was pushed down the street as the car came to a stop. Had this happened to Attie both Will and I are sure that he would not have made it. Last night and this morning Champ would cry anytime I left the room. Basically the old boy was still getting his way as he was passed out and drugged up so nothing has changed. He is so banged up and out of it that now all the tables have been turned. Attie is the strong alert one and Champ is weak and shocked. We are so thankful that he is ok, this would have been a very different sort of day had we had to put him down. Will was sure right when it happened that he had to be dead but somehow he survived it. Champ is our kid ... the fact that we raised him like a human makes him seem even more like our kid. We did not need this reminder to know how much he means to us but we certainly know now more than ever. Now I gotta get back to the little fella. He is so banged up but he still lifts his leg so you can rub his belly.

my precious angel. I cannot imagine life without him, so, in a way, there was a miracle last night. I mention that only b/c I was praying for a miracle last night...isn't God wonderful?? I was praying and He saved Champ's life!!! B/c, I tell you, if Champ were to have gone last night, I don't what I would have done. We need our little fam together.
