Why I Hate Forwards and Intros

Because they are soooooooooo boring. Because it is more fun to read fiction than to read about it. They are usually pretentious and boring or trying to funny and boring (as in heartbreaking work of staggering genius.)

Except for Little Women which I had fun reading about in college because there is so much going on. I still feel greatly that one of the greatest literary travesties is that Jo and Laurie did not end up together. Even though as Kirk Van Valkenburgh told me once it surprised me so it must be a great book. Because they don't do what we want them to.
