Champ really takes one for the team

On Sunday we took Attie and Champ up to Turkey Mountain. Will noticed in the distance an armadillo! Champ totally walked right by it but Attie saw it right away and was on point. The armadillo charged Attie and then Attie ran up to him and took a toothless bite of him. Oh, what was Champ doing? He was standing as far away as he could dancing like those circus poodles. We are not really sure what that was all about but I can only guess that Champ thought that an armadillo would be the perfect addition to an all animal band and he was working on his dance steps. Then Will wakes up in the middle of the night and Champ was between us under the covers with his head on the pillow just staring at Will with his face really close. Anyone know any good pet shrinks? =)
