Brokeback...the controversy...

Is the controversy over Brokeback Mountain, the movie, or that Will was doing that type of role playing this weekend? H-mm-mm. Can't see it...especially since there were little dogs present.


As far as the movie goes: I agree with you, Michelle. Even though I do like romance movies, this didn't fit my view of one. It was just so pitiful...and love is supposed to make you happy.
The need to revisit Brokeback Mountain each time they reunited was so sad, but natural b/c of Heath's character's fear. Isn't it amazing the power his father had over him? Was he really gay?

I loved Jake G.'s portrayal...and I loved the way his character aged...All in all, a movie to think about.

But my favorite movie this weekend was "Glory Days"...just a rip-roarin' story of breaking down barriers...and so appropriate to release it for MLK's birthday. Josh Lucas has finally found a role...thank goodness...
